Ingredients:
- 100 gm Broken wheat
- 50 gm Ghee
- 325 ml Water
- 100 gm Sugar
- 1/2 inch cinnamon stick
- 1 cardamom whole
- 5 cloves
- 1/4 Cardamom powder
Recipe:
- Heat ghee for about 30 seconds, Don’t leave it unattended
- add broken wheats
- add whole spices
- roast everything for about 5 to 7 minutes on low heat
- Remove from heat and let it sit for about 30 to 40 seconds
- add boiling water to this roasted wheat. Be extra careful as it might splash
- Stir well. Cover the pot with lid
- cook for 25 to 30 minutes on low heat.
- Make sure it doesn’t stick to the bottom
- Once cooked add sugar and stir well.
- Add cardamom powder and stir well.
- Ready to enjoy
