Semolina Toast

This is yet another recipe from my brother in law. I am yet to try myself. Thank you Jijaji!

Ingredients

  • 50 gm Semolina
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 – 2 green chilli
  • ¼ tsp salt or to taste
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped pepper
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped onion and tomatoes
  • 1 tsp finely chopped carrots
  • 1 – 2 tbsp oil for shallow frying

Method

  • In a bowl add all ingredients and mix them well.
  • Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
  • Now dip one toast at a time in this batter and shallow fry on the frying pan.
  • Let the toast cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Now flip the toast on other side and let it cook again for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Enjoy!
