Steam Carrot and Broccoli

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium carrots
  • 6 broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp lightly salted butter about 1 inch cube

Recipe:

  • Wash and peel carrots and cut them in a about a cm diagonal slices.
  • Take the broccoli florets in a bowl and add boiling water over it to cover all the florets to clean the broccoli.
  • In a sauce pan, add water, butter, carrot slices and broccoli florets.
  • Now cook them on very low heat for about 10 minutes or so until the veggies are cooked.
